WBUAFS Recruitment 2023 – WBUAFS (West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences) has released a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate-1 through interview process. At 5:00 p.m. Department of Veterinary Microbiology, F/O – V.A.S. will be held on 14/12/2023 from 12.00 noon at Office of DREF, WBUAFS, Belgachia Campus. The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for 6 (Six months) only that may be extended up to 2 years 6 months on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and subject to continuation of the project.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have obtained Post- Graduation Degree in Life Sciences / Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology /Veterinary Microbiology/ Veterinary Bacteriology/ Animal Biotechnology / any related discipline are eligible to apply for the Post.

Salary Scale
- For NET qualified candidates: Rs. 38,440/month (consolidated for first 2 years) and Rs.43,400/- month (for 3rd year, if continued)
- For non-NET qualified candidates: Rs 31,000/month (consolidated for first 2 years) and Rs.34,720/month (for 3rd year, if continued)
