Tesla Model 3 Highland Launched in US: New Aesthetics, Extended Range and More

Tesla, the world’s leading electric car maker, has released a major update to its popular Model 3 lineup. This update codenamed “Highland” has been launched in North America and it brings various cosmetic changes, improved range and more.

New shape, improved aerodynamic performance:

On the exterior, the Highland Model 3 has a sleek and modern look. The front end has been stripped of its traditional slope and features a combination of a low-profile hood and narrow headlights. These changes improve the car’s aesthetics as well as its aerodynamic performance, resulting in greater range. The new model also comes with two attractive color options – Stealth Gray and Ultra Red.

Modern interior, more features:

On the inside, the Highlander Model 3 features a completely new design. The new interior includes better materials, color-changing ambient lighting, a new steering wheel and a refreshed center screen. Long-range models also offer a rear display for rear-seat passengers, which improves the entertainment and information access experience.

Enhanced Range and Performance:

The range of the Tesla Highland Model 3 has been improved over previous models. The long-range model can now run up to 341 miles on a single charge, a significant increase from the previous 333 miles.

Pricing for the rear-wheel drive Model 3 starts at $46,990, unchanged from the previous $46,990.

Long-range:

The long-range Model 3 starts at $51,990, up $1,000 from the previous $50,990.

Tesla, the world’s leading electric car maker, has announced the recall of several of its models in the United States. This recall is due to a design defect in the brake lights on the rear wheels of the vehicle. Defective design can damage the internal parts of the brake lights, causing the lights to not work.

The vehicles covered by the recall are:

Tesla said it will replace the faulty brake lights free of charge. The manufacturer will inform the owners of the vehicles covered by the recall by email.
