Madras High Court Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
(i) He/She must be a citizen of India..
(ii) The Candidate should be a Graduate in Law (under 10+2+3+3, 10+2+5, 10+2+4+3 or any other recognized pattern at the decision of the committee) from recognized Universities in the Indian Union, and should be recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as an Advocate or Attomey of an Indian Court.
(iii) Only candidates who have passed all their Examinations within the duration of their Course are eligible to apply.
(iv) Only candidates who have obtained their Law Degree not earlier than five years as on the date of Notification, are eligible to apply for the assignment of Research Law Assistant,
(v) Candidates pursuing a Post-Graduate Degree in Law, or any other Degrees or Programmes requiring their compulsory attendance elsewhere, are not eligible to apply for the assignment of Research Law Assistant.
Madras High Court Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
(i) The eligible candidates will have to appear for viva voce at Principal Seat at Chennai or Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.
(ii) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the viva voce.
Madras High Court Recruitment 2023 How to Apply
(1) Candidates should take a printout of the application form from the official website of Madras High Court www.hcmadras.tn.nic.in and submit the application duly with full details.
(2) Candidates shall attach self-attested copies of all educational certificates along with the statement of marks obtained in Law Degree.
(3) Candidates need not send the original testimonial.
(4) The application should be submitted by registered post with acknowledgment of receipt and the envelope superscripted as “Application for the post of Research Law Assistant to Hon’ble Judges” and addressed to the Registrar General of the High Court. Madras-600 104, by 08.12.2023.
(5) Candidates should send the filled application form (soft copy) through e-mail to mhclawclerkrec@gmail.com on or before 08.12.2023.
(6) Candidates have to submit their application through two modes, namely by e-mail and by post on or before 08.12.2023. The omission of any one of the procedures will result in the rejection of the application.

Selected Candidates will be posted either in the Principal Seat at Madras or at Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, Madurai and are also liable to be transferred vice versa in case of administrative exigencies.

Age Limit
