Hero MotoCorp is all set to bring their new 440cc roadster bike, the Hero Maverick, to India. The bike is expected to be officially launched on January 23. And before that, Hero has released some teaser images, which give some hints about the design of this bike.

The design of Hero Maverick is sporty and muscular. It has a rounded fuel tank, angular extensions and a round LED headlamp. The headlamps are also accompanied by daytime running lights. The bike also features a flat single-piece handlebar.

- Similarity to Harley-Davidson X440: The Maverick’s engine is similar to the Harley-Davidson X440. It is a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-pumped engine. This engine produces 27bhp of power and 38Nm of torque.
- Performance and Fuel Efficiency: This engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox, giving the Maverick a smooth and powerful riding experience. Just like the Harley-Davidson X440, the Maverick can produce 90% torque at just 2000rpm, which ensures that the bike excels at low-end performance. Also, this engine complies with BS6-2.0 standards, which ensures better fuel efficiency.
